Excel  - hidden command on the Edit menu - to make the Copy Picture command visible hold down the SHIFT key when you access the Edit menu.  When you choose Copy Picture the selected part of your worksheet (along with the relevant row and column headings is copied to the Clipboard in PICT format.  You can paste the selection into MacDraw or SuperPaint's draw layer to manipulate the parts of it individually.  Or you can paste it into an application like PageMaker which will let you stretch or shrink it.
